Mrs. Erma Alice Waggy, 88, of Franklin, WV died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. She was born February 19,1923 at Smith Creek, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Albert Ross Simmons and Levie Susan Lambert Simmons. Erma was a homemaker and a member of the Smith Creek Church of the Brethren. On April 12, 1947, she married Claude Waggy, who preceded her in death on December 12, 2002. She is survived by - Two daughters - Bonnie G. Mitchell (& her husband, Roger) of Upper Tract, WV Judy A. Ralston (& her husband, David) of Monterey, VA One son - Danny C. Waggy (& his wife, Margaret C.) of Franklin, WV Two sisters - Ruby Propst (& her husband, Ira) of Franklin, WV Reba Wiseman of Winter Haven, FL One grandson - Stacy Waggy of Franklin, WV A number of nieces and nephews, including two special nieces, Ramona Luckel and Anna Tesi (& her husband, Brian) A number of great nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Warner and one brother, Jesse Guy Simmons. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, WV with Rev. Stanley Kile officiating. Burial will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery at Franklin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday, April 30 at the Kimble Funeral Home.
