Mr. Eric "Shane" Smith, 41, of Paw Paw, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at his home. He was born January 16, 1971 at Cumberland, MD and was the son of Ronald E. Smith and Karen Brown Smith of Paw Paw. A 1989 graduate of Paw Paw High School, Shane was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm. He had worked for Fleetwood Trailers in Winchester, was an artist and attended the Paw Paw Church of Christ. Surviving in addition to his parents are - One daughter - Erica Smith of Paw Paw, WV One sister - Dawn Weese of Paw Paw, WV The family will receive friends at the Kimble Funeral Home, 188 Moser Avenue, Paw Paw, WV on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 12:00 noon until 1:30 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw. Burial will be at Camp Hill Cemetery at Paw Paw with military graveside services conducted by members of Post #13 Veterans Honor Guard of Cumberland, MD. Walt Weese, Dick Campbell, Brandon Stotler, Slade Stotler, Derick Spencer and Chris Poniris will serve as his pallbearers.
