Elvin "Cook" Stone Crummett, 79, of Crozet, Virginia died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was born March 31, 1933 in Augusta County, Virginia and was the son of the late Grandville Jackson Crummett and Lou Tena Bodkin Crummett. He was retired from the Virginia Dept. of Highways. Surviving are - Three daughters - Wanda & her husband, Joe Hammer of Mt. Solon, VA Debbie _____ of North Carolina Margaret Ann & her husband, Bill Hall of Franklin, WV One son - Elvin Wayne Crummett of Mt. Crawford, VA One sister - Mary Hunt of Lakeland, WA Ten grandchildren And sixteen great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 7, 2012 at Green Hill Cemetery in Churchville, Virginia.
