Elsie Keplinger, 92, of Upper Tract, WV died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. She was born June 20, 1920 at Hunting Ground, WV and was the daughter of the late Oscar Arbogast and Arleta Bennett Arbogast. Elsie was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Keplinger on June 17, 1973. She is survived by - Two daughters - Mary (& her husband, Bobby) Hedrick of Upper Tract, WV Judy (& her husband, Thomas) Porath of Buda, TX One son - Michael (& his wife, Stephanie) Keplinger of Petersburg, WV Two grandsons - Bobby Allen Hedrick (& Jessie Johnson) of Petersburg, WV Robert Lee (& his wife, Ashley) Hedrick of Cherry Grove, WV And seven great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, WV with Rev. Stanley Kile officiating. Interment will follow at the Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract, West Virginia. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Saturday at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, c/o Kimble Funeral Home, P. O. Box 159, Franklin, WV 26807. Eulogy from daughter, Judy - I want my family to know that I love them very much. This is a very hard time for us all. Elsie was not only my mother, but my best friend. She was always there for me when I needed her most. Times were hard growing up, but she did whatever she had to to take care of me and Mary. She could not have been a better mother and I am very blessed to have had her as a mother. I will always love her and miss her very much and she will be in my heart forever. Let us not forget that she loved us very much, and take comfort in knowing she is with God, friends and loved ones. I will always love you, Mom.
