Mrs. Ella Mae Rexrode, 81, of Pendleton Manor and formerly of Moyers, WV passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 en route to Rockingham Memorial Hospital. She was born September 21, 1931 at Moyers, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Marion Wimer and Martha Jane Moates Wimer. She was a homemaker and caregiver and a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Preceding her in death was her husband, Berlie Rexrode on November 24, 1984. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Ann Selmon, one grandson, Jonathan Selmon, four brothers, Vernon "Bill" Wimer, Edwin F. Wimer, Gaylon Wimer and Warren Wimer and two sisters, Ruby Chambers and Cleo Taylor. Ella Mae was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are - One daughter and son-in-law - Nancy and David Pultz of Moyers, WV Three grandchildren - Kimberly Simmons, Nathaniel Selmon and Matthew Pultz And one great-granddaughter - Gabrielle Selmon Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church at Moyers, WV with Pastors Jason & Jess Felici officiating. Burial will be at the Wimer Cemetery at Moyers. Amby Waybright, Mike Gardiner, Glenn Moats, Wayne Henshaw, Jeremy Pauley and Calvin Kline will serve as her pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
