Eleanor Elizabeth Kimble Thompson, 88, of Upper Tract, WV passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg.
She was born May 26, 1929 at Smoke Hole, WV and was the daughter of the late Harrison Turner and Edna Carr Turner.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles V. Kimble. She is survived by her second husband, Dale "Mark" Thompson of Pendleton Manor in Franklin.

One son, Anthony "Andy" Kimble; one brother, William Paul Turner; one half brother, Harmon Turner; three half-sisters, Bertha Turner, Nellie Smith and Martha Mongold and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Kimble preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Monday, April 2 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday with Rev. Bruce Cosner officiating.
Interment will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made toward funeral expenses, c/o Kimble Funeral Home, P. O. Box 159, Franklin, WV 26807.
