Eleanor M. Hoover, 78, of Brandywine, WV passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at her home.

She was born April 7, 1941 at Franklin, WV and was the daughter of the late Eddie Cowger and Hazel Hussey.

She had worked at Shen-Mar in Bridgewater for 16 years, D & E Home Store, H & J Superette and Tiny Tots Daycare in Brandywine. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, South Fork Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies' Auxiliary and the WV Farm Bureau.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Hoover, in March 17, 1992 and by her son, Danny Lee Hoover on May 6, 2013.

Danielle Hoover (& Jamie) of Sugar Grove, WV

Two great-granddaughters –

Dani Ruth Hoover and Charlee Marie Hoover

And a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, being preceded in death by her siblings, Carolyn June Parnell, Steve Cowger, Eldon Cowger and Frankie Cowger.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Pine Hill Cemetery at Brandywine with Pastors Jason & Jess Felici officiating.
