Edward Carroll Mauzy, 81, of Bridgewater, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Life Care Center in New Market.

He was born July 21, 1938 at Franklin, WV and was the son of the late Ralph B. Mauzy and Glenna Rexrode Mauzy.

Carroll was a 1956 graduate of Franklin High School and retired from Dupont in Waynesboro, Virginia, after working as an operator there for 30+ years. He was a member of the Franklin United Methodist Church, and enjoyed woodworking, automobiles, baseball and traveling.  He especially loved listening to music, and spent many hours enjoying his vast album collection.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Franklin, West Virginia with Rev. Kevin Hand officiating.
