Edith Propst Stone, 97, of Franklin, WV passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA.

She was born February 3, 1923 at Franklin, WV and was the daughter of the late Charlie L. Propst and Sarah Margaret "Maggie" Whetzel Propst.

She had worked at Ikey's, The Star Restaurant, Franklin Cut-Rate, and retired from Hanover Shoe Company. Edith was a dedicated member of Faith Lutheran Church.

On January 12, 1983, she was preceded in death by her husband, Murrell Stone. A brother, Carroll Propst and a sister, Mabel Cayton also predeceased her.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Oaklawn Cemetery near Franklin with Revs. Jason and Jess Felici officiating.
