Mr. James "Dwight" Hevener, 74,of Upper Tract, West Virginia passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. He was born May 14, 1940 and was the son of Violet K. Armentrout Hevener of Pendleton Manor and the late J. James Hevener. A 1957 graduate of Franklin High School, Dwight was a farmer and had worked on the pipeline. He was a member of Laborers Local 984 in Clarksburg, WV, a charter member of the Upper Tract Rescue Squad, a member of Christ Central Community Church and past member of the South Branch Ruritan Club. Surviving in addition to his mother are - His wife - Evelyn Ratliff Hevener, whom he married July 12, 1958 One daughter - Evelyn Joan Ankers and her husband, Philip of Dorcas, WV One son - Eric Hevener and his wife, Debra of Dorcas, WV Two sisters - Alma Wagoner of McGaheysville, VA Sherry Kile and her husband, David of Franklin, WV Three brothers - Leon Hevener and his wife, Geraldine of Upper Tract, WV Steven Hevener and his wife, Rita of Franklin, WV Hal Hevener of Fairmont, WV Four grandchildren - James Ankers, Sarah Ankers, Shawn Hevener and Tiffanie Wilkinson Two great-grandchildren - Adalynn Hevener and Mollie Wilkinson And a special companion - His cat, Moses Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Christ Central Community Church with Pastor Sam Harper officiating. Interment will be at Kline Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 9:00 PM Friday, January 16, 2015 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
