Duane David Thompson, 55, of Sugar Grove, West Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

He was born November 15, 1965 at Harrisonburg, Virginia and was the son of Ethel Pearl Cayton Thompson of Broadway, Virginia and the late Donald L. Thompson.

He was a 1984 graduate of Franklin High School and worked as a truck loader at the Walmart Distribution Center at Mt. Crawford, Virginia.  Duane was Christian by faith.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 PM Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, where a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pat Godfrey officiating.

Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery at Franklin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
