Mr. Dennis Michael Mynuk, 60, of Marlinton, West Virginia passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the V.A. Medical Center in Beckley, West Virginia. He was born January 26, 1952 in Lorain, OH and was the son of Michael Mynuk and Grace Gay Mynuk, both of Marlinton, West Virginia. He retired after 21 years with the U.S. Army and Marine Corps and also worked with the WV Dept. of Corrections. He attended St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Marlinton. On May 11, 1979, he married Linda Cyphers Mynuk who survives. Also surviving are - One son - Eric Mynuk and his wife, Calia of Las Vegas, NV One daughter - Tatiana Mynuk of Lewisburg, WV And one grandson - Ian Mitchell Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 4, 2013 at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Marlinton with Father Mark Gallipeau officiating. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton. Mike Coleman, David Cox, Michael Hardesty, David Peacock, Mark Riggsby and Randy Stemple will serve as his pallbearers.
