Mr. Dennis Ison Kimble, 63, of Upper Tract, WV passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 in Buena Vista, Colorado while on a hunting trip.

He was born May 26, 1953 in Petersburg, WV and was the son of Edna Mildred Kimble of Upper Tract and the late Ison B. Kimble.

Dennis was a 1971 graduate of Franklin High School and was a boilermaker with Local 45, retiring in 2012.  He was a member of Christ Central Community Church and was a lifetime member of the N.R.A.  Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, NASCAR and spending time with family and friends.  He was an avid WVU Mountaineers fan.

On November 25, 1983, he married Shelia D. Berg Kimble, who survives.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 4 at Christ Central Community Church in Upper Tract with Pastor Sam Harper officiating.

Interment will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery in Upper Tract.
