Deborah L. Judy, 64, of Frederick, MD and formerly of Wytheville, VA, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

She was born August 23, 1952 in Wytheville, VA and was the daughter of the late Willard Vernon Shipley and Pauline Umbarger Shipley.

She was a graduate of Wytheville High School, attended cosmetology school, was a homemaker, had worked as a teachers' aide and in electronics.  Deborah attended Asbury United Methodist Church in Gaithersburg, MD. Debbie was a loving person whose sense of humor delighted everyone. She had been a patient at Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown, MD for the past six years.

On June 9, 1976, she married Danny L. Judy, who survives.

Helen Easton Howard of Frederick, MD

Two grandchildren –

Jake and Katelynn Durham of Franklin, WV

And three step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Elder Richard Warner officiating.

Interment will be in the North Fork Memorial Cemetery at Riverton, WV.
