Marvin "Dean" Shambaugh, 65, of Great Cacapon, West Virginia departed this life on Monday, May 13, 2024 at his home.

He was born May 11, 1959 at Berkeley Springs, West Virginia and was the son of the late Marion "Ike" Albert Shambaugh and Essie ReEtta (Brown) Shambaugh.

Dean never married.  He was self-employed, enjoyed cutting wood and mowing grass and was Methodist by faith.

He is survived by –

And his beloved cat –

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Joe Shambaugh and Floyd Shambaugh; one sister, Sandra Shambaugh and a special friend, Dave Reynolds.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, May 16 at Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 17 with Pastor Daniel Morris officiating.

Interment will be at the Reynolds Family Cemetery at Magnolia.
