David Earle Swecker, 51, of Franklin, West Virginia passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at his home.

He was born January 13, 1969 at Harrisonburg, VA and was the son of David Hammer Swecker and Patricia Mae Wheaton Swecker of Franklin.

David Earle was a 1987 graduate of Franklin High School and attended Potomac State College for one year.  He had worked at Monterey Livestock Market, Martin's Electric in Petersburg, Broadway Electric, Allegheny Meats and presently was working as a self-employed electrician.  He was a member of the Franklin Presbyterian Church.  David Earle had a passion for history, was a member of the NRA, Beaver Creek Long Knives (Rockingham County), Killbuck Muzzleloaders and the WV Muzzleloaders Association.

In addition to his parents, with whom he lived and cared for, he is survived by -

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon - 1:00 PM Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Larry Danner officiating.

Interment will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract, WV.  John McCoy, Jim Kile, Mark Phomas, Buster Landes, Mark Martin, Jim Berry and Mike Schaffer will serve as his pallbearers.
