David Wallace Mutter, 46, of Andrews, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at his home.

He was born April 13, 1974 in Mount Gilead, Ohio, and was the son of the late Wallace Howard Mutter and Letha Mae (Hoover) Mutter.  His father preceded him in death in 1984 and his mother in 2010.

David attended Franklin High School in Franklin, WV before moving to Alverton, Pennsylvania, where he graduated in 1992 from Southmoreland High School.  In 2002, he moved out west to Andrews, Texas, where he established a career as a RAD Waste Control Specialist in Hobbs, New Mexico.  He held the position for 18 years, until 2018 when he began working as a Safety Coordinator for Fehr Industrial Manufacturing in Andrews, Texas.

On February 7, 2007, he was blessed with the birth of his son, David Gage Mutter, who survives.

David had three main passions in his life - his son, his family and Ohio State.  All of his love and their shared love for The Buckeyes will live on forever in the heart of his son, Gage.  His playful personality and signature lopsided smile that made everything seem brighter will live on forever in the hearts and memories of so many.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 PM Friday, September 11, 2020 at Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street in Franklin,West Virginia, where a memorial service will begin at 7:30 PM Friday. Due to WV COVID regulations, face coverings and social distancing are required at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandywine, WV.
