Mr. David M. Mallow, 88, of Upper Tract, West Virginia, died Monday, March 30, 2009 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, West Virginia. He was born September 2, 1920 at Kline, West Virginia and was the son of the late Otha A. Mallow and Agatha L. Dean Mallow. He was a 1941 graduate of Franklin High School and attended Potomac State College. He was a farmer, custodian at Upper Tract Elementary School, member of the Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church and a member of the Potomac Valley Mens' Choir. On December 16, 1955, he married Vada R. Ratliff Mallow, who survives. Also surviving are - Two daughters - Gail (& husband, Vernon) Simmons of Monterey, VA Ginger (& husband, Casey) Hartman of Dayton, VA Three sons - D. Neal Mallow of Kirby, WV Brent Mallow of Upper Tract, WV Leonard (& wife, Donna) Mallow of Upper Tract, WV Two sisters - Lillian Sites of Keyser, WV Mary Ann Alt of Petersburg, WV And six grandchildren - Derek & Holli Simmons, Tara, Seara, Trina Mallow and Tiffany Hartman. He was preceded in death by one daughter. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church at Kline, West Virginia with Rev. Rita Beeman and Pastor Otis "Buzz" Weatherholt officiating. Burial will be at Kline Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, West Virginia. Memorials may be made to Mt.
