David Wayne Leach, 53, of Largent, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware on June 23, 1962, he was the son of Della King Leach of Largent and the late Charles H. Leach.

He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from West Virginia University and was farm manager for the WVU Experimental Farm in Kearneysville, West Virginia. He had also worked for Consolidated Orchards in Paw Paw and for Paw Paw Railroad Siding and Repair.  He was a member, deacon and song leader at Paw Paw Bible Church.  David was president of the Morgan County Gideons and also served on the Mountaineer Community Health Center Board.

Barbara Shrier and husband, Douglas of Largent, WV

Susan Sparks of Laureldale, PA

And several nieces and nephews

Friends and family will be received from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 10 at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, RR 29, Paw Paw, West Virginia.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 11 at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church.

Interment will be at Woodrow Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family toward medical and funeral expenses or to Gideons International.
