Darrel Brooks Stone, 63, of Sugar Grove, WV passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at his home.

Born December 4, 1954 at Harrisonburg, VA, he was the son of Dorothy Moats Stone of Rockingham, VA and the late Brooks Stone.

Darrel was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force.  He was a USFDA inspector and a member of the St. Paul Independent Lutheran Church.

On October 13, 2007 he married Debra Kay Daman Stone, who survives.

Ten step-grandchildren

A niece and three nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, WV where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating.

Members of the Pendleton County Veterans Honor Guard will conduct a military service at the funeral home.
