Darlene Paris, 59, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, May 5, 2022 while a patient at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.

She was born July 26, 1962 at Alexandria, Virginia and was the daughter of the late William Cecil Paris, Jr. and Betty Marie Propst.

She worked as a postal carrier for the past twenty-five years, and was a devoted Christian.

Three brothers –

Terry Hedrick (Margaret) of Franklin

Cody Hedrick (Barbara) of Franklin

Danny Paris (Julie) of Stafford, VA

Seven grandchildren –

Kyle White, Tylor Asbury, Cameron Thompson,  Kaden Thompson, Caiah Thompson, Cody Asbury and Connor Davis

And a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Lynn Asbury, Jr. (1980 – 2020).

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2022 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Rob Borror officiating.

Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery near Franklin.
