Mr. Danny L. Hoover, 54, of Sugar Grove, West Virginia passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He was born November 22, 1958 at Harrisonburg, Virginia and was the son of Eleanor Cowger Hoover of Brandywine, WV and the late Bobby Lee Hoover. Danny was a 1978 graduate of Franklin High School, had worked at Western Auto as a carpet layer, for the WV Division of Highways for twenty years and was a farmer. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the National Rifle Association, and was a former member of South Fork Fire Dept. On August 25, 1984, he married Charlotte Propst Hoover, who survives. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by - One daughter - Danielle Hoover of Sugar Grove, WV and her fiancee, Randall Collier Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 11, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church at Moyers, West Virginia with Revs. Jason and Jess Felici officiating. Interment will be at the St. John Church Cemetery. Lynn Nelson, Jarod Nelson, Noah Nelson, Glenn Moats, Kevin Sponaugle, Andy Bland and Dennis Lambert will serve as his pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brady McClanahan, Jamie Hoover, Wendell Marshall, Devon Moats, Roy Bowers, Mike Simmons, Hugh Hartman, Dywayne Stout, Donna Mallow and Eston Propst. Friends may call after 8:00 AM Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, West Virginia. The family will receive friends at Kimble Funeral Home from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Friday.
