Mr. Curtis Everett Snyder, 86, of Franklin, West Virginia passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Pendleton Manor. He was born March 13, 1929 at Dahmer, WV and was the son of the late Harry Pleasant "HP" Snyder and Cora Propst Snyder. Everett worked for his brother, Benny Snyder, at his sawmill. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed hunting, music and was an avid fan of WVU football. Surviving are - Two sisters - Ella Mae Riggleman of Franklin, WV Gladys Hartman & her husband, Charles of Franklin, WV And a number of nieces and nephews Preceding him in death were two brothers, Fred Snyder and Benny Snyder and four sisters, Erma Simmons, Mary Warner, Sally Lambert and Georgie Armstrong. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in the chapel of the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin with Pastors Jason and Jess Felici officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery at Franklin. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 PM (the service hour) on Wednesday at Kimble Funeral Home.
