Charlotte Anne Fertig, 75, of Bridgewater, Virginia, and formerly of Marlinton, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

She was born February 13, 1949 at Marlinton, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Paul Luther Beverage and Arlene Alice VanReenen Beverage.

She was a 1967 graduate of Marlinton High School, a beautician in Marlinton and later worked at Perdue.  She had been a member of the Marlinton Presbyterian Church and the Bridgewater United Methodist Church.

On March 10, 1968 she married Glade Raymond Fertig, Jr., who survives.

And several cousins

Four children, Sandra Renee Morris, Karen Anne Fertig, Christopher Todd Fertig and Brian Raymond Fertig, preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Kimble Funeral Home in Marlinton, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday with Pastor Sam Felton officiating.

Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery at Marlinton.
