Charles Junior Mitchell, 86, of Franklin, WV passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at his home.

He was born September 28, 1931 at Upper Tract, WV and was the son of the late Charles Mitchell and Ina Mae Kesner Mitchell.

He was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a construction worker and farmer.  He was a member of the South Mill Creek Church of the Brethren.

On November 30, 1957, he married Marie Simmons Mitchell, who survives.

He was preceded in death by three sisters – Mable Riggleman, Leoda Grogg and Hazel Rexrode and three brothers, Cletus Mitchell, Raymond Mitchell, and Roy Mitchell.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 2 in the chapel of the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin with Officiating Minister Hilrey Heckler.

Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery at Fort Seybert.
