Charles Andrew Hedrick, 35, of Upper Tract, West Virginia went to his heavenly home on Saturday, March 25, 2023 while a patient at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV.

He was born October 30, 1987 at Harrisonburg, Virginia and was the son of David A. Hedrick and Wanda J. (Shreve) Hedrick of Upper Tract.

Charles was a 2009 graduate of Pendleton County High School, and a proud WVU Mountaineers fan.  He enjoyed the Dukes of Hazzard, watching game shows and listening to music, especially country music.  He was a member of the Pendleton County CERT team, loved hugs and always liked to give good back rubs.

Surviving in addition to his parents are –

Three brothers –

William Hedrick (Shawna) of Morgantown

Matthew Hedrick (Tonia) of Brandywine

Benjamin Hedrick (Amberlee) of Morgantown

Three nieces –

Carrigan Hedrick, Corinne Hedrick, and Layla Hedrick

And two nephews –

Connor Hedrick and Gram Hedrick

Charles was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, B. Ottis Shreve and Clement (Kimble) Shreve and his paternal grandparents, Arlin Hedrick and Catherine (Smith) Hedrick.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 2 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract.
