Chad Steven Miller, 48, of Upper Tract, WV passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Chad was born November 4, 1971 at Petersburg, WV and was the son of Johnny "Steve" Miller and Darlene Hedrick Miller of Upper Tract.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Stanley and Evelyn Hedrick and his paternal grandparents, John and Beulah Miller.

He graduated from Franklin High School and South Branch Vocational Center in 1990.  After graduation, he worked with his father in the poultry business until 2003.  Chad began his truck driving career in 1992 with the family trucking business, J.S. Miller, LLC. He hauled logs to various locations in WV, MD, PA and VA.  He attended Upper Tract United Methodist Church where he helped with lawn care.

Chad was fortunate to have guidance from both of his grandfathers.  His Grandfather Hedrick instilled in him his love for hunting and fishing and his Grandfather Miller taught him his truck driving skills.

A graveside service and interment will be held at Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Webb officiating.
