Caryol Jean Evans passed peacefully out of this life on Friday, February 10, 2023, at her home in Paw Paw.

She was born January 8, 1943 in Cumberland, Maryland to George Kenneth Chambers and Catherine Eugenia (Flora) Chambers.  Both parents preceded her in death, along with three brothers, George Chambers, Gordon Chambers (wife, Shirley) and George Chambers and her grandson, Ethan Stotler McRobie.

She graduated from Paw Paw High School in 1961 and worked at National Fruit for thirty years until her retirement.  She married Carl "Buck" Evans who passed away in December of 1995.

Caryol's most special friend of more than fifty years was Joan Shambaugh, who also preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 16 with Elder Paul Crawford and Frank Shambaugh officiating.

Interment will be at Island Hill Cemetery.
