Carolyn Catherine Ruddle, 90, of Franklin, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA.

She was born January 24, 1929 in Ruddle, WV and was the daughter of the late Newton Decatur "Dick" Ruddle and Mary Dunkle Ruddle.

Miss Ruddle was a much loved elementary teacher at Franklin Grade School and a devoted member of Franklin Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by –

Preceding her in death were sisters, Helen McGhee and Eloise Richard and brothers, Newton Decatur Ruddle, Jr. and Stanley Ralph Ruddle.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street, Franklin.

On Monday, January 20, the family will receive friends from 12:00 noon – 1:00 PM at the Franklin Presbyterian Church, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with her nephew, Pastor Sean Walker, officiating.

Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
