Carolyn Arbutus Parlett Alderton Crabtree, 85, of Paw Paw, West Virginia passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Berkeley Springs Rehab and Nursing. She was born August 4, 1929 and was the daughter of the late George Parlett and Ethel Youngblood Parlett. She had worked at J. Schoeneman Company and National Fruit, both in Winchester. Preceding her in death were her first husband, Ralph J. Alderton, on December 14, 1979 and her second husband, Willard C. Crabtree on May 9, 2006. Five sisters, Irma Messer, Ruth Keeney, Goldie Shade, Dorothy Messer and Lou Mobley also preceded her in death. Surviving are - One daughter - Gloria Thompson of Stephens City, VA One stepson - Paul Crabtree of Stafford, VA One sister - Margaret Alice Twigg of Boonesboro, MD One granddaughter - Renee Thompson Two step-grandchildren - Ryan Crabtree Megan Crabtree The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday, March 28 at Kimble Funeral Home, 188 Moser Avenue, Paw Paw West Virginia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw with Pastor David Bradfield officiating. Interment will be at Woodrow Cemetery, Paw Paw, West Virginia.
