Mrs. Carolen "Jane" Hoover, 75, of Franklin, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin. She was born October 28, 1938 at Cherry Grove, WV and was the daughter of the late Clinton M. Bennett and Peachie Nelson Bennett. Jane had worked as a telephone operator in Circleville, at the ABC store in Franklin for 18 years and at a poultry hatchery in Virginia for 14 years. She was a faithful member of the Walnut Street United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Ona "Jim" Hoover, whom she married on May 20, 1961. Also surviving are - Two daughters - Tammy J. Warner and her husband, David G. of Franklin, WV Wanda Barr of Franklin, WV One sister - Jackie Burkey and her husband, Roy of Tuscon, Arizona One brother - Roy "Chick" Bennett and his wife, Betty of Circleville, WV Three grandchildren - Davina Warner, C. Payton Barr and David G. Warner II She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Christopher Barr and six brothers - Max Bennett, Milford Bennett, Wayne Bennett, Harold Bennett, Glen Bennett and Jimmie Bennett A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, WV with Rev. Stanley Kile officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM.
