Carol Ann Holbert, 66, of Marlinton, WV died Monday, September 15, 2014 at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital, Buckeye, WV. She was born October 20, 1947 in New York and was the daughter of the late Gerald and Ruth Rafferty. Carol had worked as an LPN at the Pocahontas Center for 26 years and was Methodist by faith. On July 10, 1971, she married Robert D. "Dan" Holbert, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are - One daughter - Leanne Mauree Holbert of Frankfort, WV Two sons - Robert D. "Bobby" Holbert, III and his wife, Lori of Looneyville, WV James Michael Holbert of Marlinton, WV Two sisters - Dianne Rafferty of New York Marjorie Shambo of New York Two brothers - Gerald Rafferty of New York Michael Rafferty of New York And three grandchildren - Levi Alexander Holbert, Ivy Grace Holbert and Nevaeh Marie Southern She was preceded in death by one sister, Jean. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Kimble Funeral Home, 18942 Seneca Trail, Marlinton, West Virginia. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Wednesday at Kimble Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Felton officiating.
