Mr. Carl Murphy, 75, of Brandywine, West Virginia passed away Monday morning, July 29, 2013 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin. He was born January 3, 1938 at Cherry Grove, West Virginia and was the son of the late Lilly Wimer Murphy. He had worked at Wampler's in Hinton, Virginia and attended the Franklin Assembly of God Church. Surviving are - Two daughters - Martha Helmick (& Keith) of Brandywine, WV Cathy Murphy (& Randall) of Franklin, WV One son - Justin Carl Murphy (& Christopher Lynn Black) of Harrisonburg, VA Five Grandchildren And Six Great-Grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Kimble Funeral Home Chapel, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, West Virginia with Rev. Calvin Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery at Franklin. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM (the time of service) at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
