Bonnie J. Wimer's Obituary
Mrs. Bonnie Jean Wimer, 86, of Franklin, WV, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 at the home of her daughter in Sugar Grove.
She was born August 23, 1929 at Moyers, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Ernest Clemin Hoover and Mary Jane Rexrode Hoover.
She retired from Hanover Shoe Company after 27 1/2 years of service. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
On December 23, 1946, she married Marion V. "Bill" Wimer, who preceded her in death on July 7, 2012.
Surviving are -
One daughter -
Linda Fay Rexrode (& husband, Gerald) of Sugar Grove, WV
Two sons -
Vernon Lee Wimer (& wife, Shirley) of Franklin, WV
Jerry Allen Wimer (& wife, Ann) of Franklin, WV
Six grandchildren
Fifteen great-grandchildren
Two great-great-grandchildren
And her beloved dog, Ginger.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry "Buster" Hoover and Charles Leo Hoover, two sistesrs, Betty Harper and Iva Harper, a half-sister, Shirley Joseph and a grandson, Michael "Spud" Wimer (5-10-1972 - 05-21-2013).
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 22 in the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin with Pastors Jason and Jess Felici officiating.
Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
Memorials may be made to Mountain Hospice, P. O. Box 416, Franklin, WV 26807.
