Bonita Louise "Bonnie" Spencer, 55, of Paw Paw, West Virginia, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009 as the result of an automobile accident on Rt. 51 near Oldtown, MD. She was born April 1, 1954 at Cumberland, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Margie Frazier and Tommy Smith. She was a seamstress and had worked sixteen years at Bonnie Kay Sewing Factory in Paw Paw, at Hampshire Manufacturing and was presently employed at Blind Industries in Cumberland, Maryland. She was an avid sports fan and especially loved softball. She coached Little League, was a member of the Paw Paw PTA Boosters Club and the Paw Paw Church of Christ. On July 17, 1971, she married Gilbert L. Spencer, who survives. Also surviving are - One daughter - Beverly Spencer of Cumberland, MD Two sons - Gilbert L. Spencer II of Martinsburg, WV Tyrone Spencer of Yuba City, CA One sister - Cynthia Paige of Cumberland, MD One brother - Eugene Frazier of Cumberland, MD Four grandchildren - Acacia Spencer, Cameron Howard, Nevaeh Howard and Tyrone I. Spencer And three special friends - Glenda Ridgeway, Nancy Carder and Sue Denny Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the Paw Paw Church of Christ with Richard White and Mike Collins officiating. Bruceton Paige, Brian Frazier, Norman Spencer, Eddie Ridgeway, Derek Spencer and Gilbert Spencer will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be at Camp Hill Cemetery at Paw Paw. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, May 15 at the Adams Funeral Home in Cumberland, MD and from 6:00 - 8:30 PM Saturday, May 16 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw, WV.
