Mrs. Bonnie Elizabeth Pennington, 85, of Reeds Creek Road, Franklin, WV passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at her home.

She was born April 15, 1932 at Cave, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late James Mattox and Mabel Westfall Mattox.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Brushy Run Church of God.

On October 17, 1955, Bonnie married Harry W. Pennington, who preceded her in death on February 17, 2005.

Dewey Mattox of Bergton, VA

Ervin Mattox of Mathias, WV

Willard Mattox of Roanoke, VA

Two granddaughters –

Crystal Hoover

Mindy Rhodes

And six great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by four sisters.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 4 in the Chapel of the Kimble Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Cosner officiating.

Interment will be at Ruddle Cemetery.
