Beulah Pauline "Peggy" Hoover, 78, of College Park, MD passed away at her home on Friday, October 22, 2021.

She was born June 13, 1943 at Ruddle, WV and was the daughter of the late Olin Frederick "Poodie" Smith and Margaret Pauline Miller Smith.

A 1962 graduate of Franklin High School, she was a technician and policy writer for GEICO, and had worked as a bus attendant for Montgomery County Schools for 20 years.  Her favorite hobby was baking cookies.

On August 24, 1963, she married Jerry R. Hoover, who survives.

Mrs. Hoover was preceded in death by four brothers, Jim Smith, Gerald Smith, Olin "Sonny" Smith, Jr. and Gene Smith, Sr., and a sister, Lucy G. Propst.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon - 1:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street in Franklin, WV where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jason Felici officiating.

Entombment at Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandywine will be private.
