Betty Jean Mercer, 79, of Augusta, WV passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at her home. She was born February 22, 1935 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and was the daughter of the late William Parrish and Luna Mae Martin. She was a homemaker. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Mercer, Sr. and a son, James Mercer. Surviving are - Three daughters - Gayle Wolf of Augusta, WV Sandra Parr of Augusta, WV Sharon Abel of Pasadena, MD Two sons - Gary Mercer of Augusta, WV William Mercer of Augusta, WV Thirteen grandchildren And five great-grandchildren Her body was cremated and all services will be private.
