Mrs. Betty Pearl Hook, 71, of Paw Paw, West Virginia, died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. She was born July 22, 1937 at Springfield, WV and was the daughter of the late Elmer Hedrick and Martha Reed Hedrick. She had worked at Zero Pack and Apple Growers in Winchester and was a member of Timber Ridge Pentecostal Church. On July 9, 1953, she married William R. Hook, who survives. Also surviving are - Ten children - Joann (& husband, Paul) Solomon of Frostburg, MD Martha (& husband, Terry) McDaniel of Paw Paw, WV Wilma (& husband, Doug) Abrell of Paw Paw, WV Tom (& wife, Janet) Hook of Augusta, WV David (& wife, Linda) Hook of Paw Paw, WV Evelyn (& husband, Don) Swiney of Paw Paw, WV Pearl (& husband, Larry) Wilson of Paw Paw, WV Barbara (& husband, David) Largent of Paw Paw, WV Mildred (& husband, Larry) Kemp of Inwood, WV Ruthie (& husband, Paul) Saulnier of Paw Paw, WV One sister - Stella Dickerson of Lynchburg, VA One brother - Charles Hedrick of Baltimore, MD Twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw, WV with Pastors Andy Collins and Charlie Wampler officiating. Burial will be at Woodrow Cemetery at Paw Paw, West Virginia. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw.
