Mr. Barry E. "Huck" Propst, 53, of Franklin, WV died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at the home of his sister. He was born August 31, 1956 at Harrisonburg, VA and was the son of the late Edna Jane Harper and Grant Propst. He operated Thorn Spring Restaurant, known as Grant's, and was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. He loved hunting, fishing, trapping and gardening and was an avid WVU Mountaineers fan. He always enjoyed playing on the independent softball teams. He is survived by - His sister and brother-in-law - Nila and Dale Bland of Brandywine, WV One brother - Lannie F. Propst of Valley Head, WV Four Nieces and Nephews - Andy Bland, Tammy Davis, Patricia Housley and Patrick Lewis Four Great-Nieces and Nephews including two Special Great-Nieces - Laura Davis and Megan Davis. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 1, 2010 at the Chapel of the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, WV with Rev. Robert Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 31 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Mt.
