Barbara Jean Bostic Combs, 72, of Marlinton, WV passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at her home.

Born December 1, 1946 at Renick, WV, she was the daughter of the late Gretchel Bostic Allen.

Barbara had worked at Denmar State Hospital, Hanover Shoe and Lear Corporation in Covington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Combs; a son, David Combs; two daughters, Jacqueline Combs and Lisa Corbett, and a brother, Walter Allen.

Brenda Dean (& Bobby) of Buckeye, WV

One brother –

Johnny Allen of Hillsboro, WV

Five grandchildren –

Amber Combs, Kaitlin Warf, Courtney Combs, Catherine Brewer and Logan Warf

And one great-granddaughter –

Makensley Sturgell

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM Friday, August 2, 2019 at Kimble Funeral Home in Marlinton where a funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday with Pastor Sam Felton officiating.

Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
