Mr. Arlie Lee Ruddle, 83, of Oak Flat, WV passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Mark Ruddle. He was born November 19, 1928 at Oak Flat, WV and was the son of the late Byrd Ruddle and Mary Vista Anderson Ruddle. Arlie began his tree surgeon business known as Treemasters and worked in the Maryland area and in Arlington National Cemetery before retiring in 1978. He then moved to Fort Seybert, where he was a poultry grower for Rocco Turkeys. In his younger years, Arlie was an avid fisherman and bear hunter. On May 31, 1952, he married Joyce Vivian Whittington Ruddle, who preceded him in death on July 11, 2005. He is survived by - One daughter - Tracy and her husband, Mark Ruddle of Brandywine, WV Four sons - Russell Ruddle of Fort Seybert, WV Jeffrey Ruddle of Brandywine, WV Michael Ruddle of Derwood, MD Lester Ruddle of Fort Seybert, WV Two half-brothers - Bob Simon of Fort Seybert, WV Carl Simon of Harrisonburg, VA Thirteen Grandchildren Three Great-Grandchildren Nine Step-Grandchildren Fourteen Step-Great-Grandchildren He was preceded in death by two brothers, Weldon Ruddle and Bill Ruddle, three sisters, Mable Elyard, Kitty Ferguson and Anne Whetzel, one son, Scott Ruddle and one grandson, Joshua Reed Ruddle. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, West Virginia with Rev. Shyrl Smith officiating. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery at Brandywine, West Virginia. Friends may call at the Kimble Funeral Home after 8:00 AM Saturday, November 10, 2012.
