Mrs. Arlene Virginia May, 85, of Moyers, WV died Monday, April 5, 2010 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin, WV. She was born August 11, 1924 at Dahmer, WV and was the daughter of the late Lester R. Hoover and Julia Anne Pitsenbarger Hoover. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church where she served as organist for over sixty years. On February 9, 1946, she married Ona Conway May, who preceded her in death on January 26, 2007. She is survived by - One daughter & son-in-law - Carolyn May and Mack Jones of Moneta, VA One son and daughter-in-law - Willard R. and Ruthaleen May of Moyers, WV Four grandchildren - Stacy Thompson, Jeremy May, Bradley May and Kayla May. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 8, 2010 at St. John's Lutheran Church at Moyers with Pastors Craig and Wendy Richter officiating. Jeremy May, Bradley May, Jonathan Eye, Matthew Eye, Mike Jamison and Olin Hoover will serve as her pallbearers. Burial will be at the St. John's Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 7 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
