Ammon Ray Butcher, Sr., 61, of Franklin, WV passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at his home.

He was born July 5, 1956 at Weston, WV and was the son of the late Ammon G. Butcher, Jr. and Bertha Caroline Reed Butcher.

He was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy and was a truck driver.  He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and watching sports on television, especially football.

Eric Butcher of Niles, OH

And nine grandchildren

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin where a funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Friday with Pastor Anna Efaw officiating.

Military honors will be conducted at the funeral home by members of the Pendleton County Veterans Honor Guard.

Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Brandywine, WV.
