Amby Waybright, Jr., 71, of Sugar Grove, West Virginia, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

He was born August 28, 1953 at Petersburg, West Virginia and was the son of the late Amby Waybright, Sr. and Margaret Virginia Whisman Waybright.

He was a 1971 graduate of Franklin High School and had worked at Hanover Shoe Company, Lantz Construction and Blue Ridge Lumber.

He never married.  He is survived by a number of cousins.

Friends will be received from 6:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, August 28 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM with Pastor Mike Loudermilk officiating.

Interment will be private at the Waybright Cemetery.
