Allene R. Moyers, 81, of Strasburg, VA died Monday, December 31, 2012 at Skyline Terrace Nursing Home in Woodstock, VA. She was born June 16, 1931 at Cave, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Luther M. Moyers and Ada M. Wilfong Moyers. Surviving are - Three brothers - Charles R. Moyers of Strasburg, VA Eugene Moyers of Harrisonburg, VA Carl Moyers of Bolar, VA One sister - Frances Robinson of Strasburg, VA And a number of nieces and nephews Preceding her in death were two sisters, Cornelia Pitsenbarger and Shirley Vandevander. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, WV with Rev. Robert Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Blue Grass Cemetery at Blue Grass, VA. The family will receive friends at Kimble Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service hour at 11:00 AM.
