Mrs. Alice K. Selmon, 86, of Cherry Grove, WV, died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin, West Virginia. She was born October 17, 1924 at Cherry Grove, West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Don Cameron Mauzy and Verdie J. Lambert Mauzy. She was a homemaker, and along with her husband, owned and operated a farm. Alice was a member of the North Fork Church of the Brethren. She is survived by - Her husband of 54 years - Otis Selmon, of Pendleton Manor, Franklin, WV One son - Don A. Mauzy of Lavon, TX Four grandchildren in Texas and California And five great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Rymer Mauzy. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the Chapel of the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, WV with Pastor Jesse Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
