Alice A. Heavner, 77, of Franklin, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin. She was born July 8, 1937 at Deer Run, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Russell William Heavner and Gertrude Elizabeth Lough Heavner. Alice was a 1955 graduate of Franklin High School and a graduate of Dunsmore Business College. She had worked for Dr. Charles Sites, IMCO, Smith Transfer and the UVA Cafeteria. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She is survived by - One sister - Mary Lee Heavner of Franklin, WV Three brothers - William L. (& wife, Louise) Heavner of Bridgewater, VA Jerry R. (& wife, Phyllis) Heavner of Harrisonburg, VA Joe W. (& wife, Anna) Heavner of Franklin, WV And a number of nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty L. Mason. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin with Rev. Stanley Kile officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM (the service hour) on Friday at Kimble Funeral Home.
