Phobie Alice Sinnett Cowger, 89, of Franklin, WV passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin.

She was born February 26, 1929 at Riverton, WV and was the daughter of the late Walt Warner and Mamie Harper Warner.

She was a substitute cook for Pendleton County Schools and retired from Hanover Shoe Company.  She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

Alice was preceded in death by her first husband, Oliver Dice Sinnett, on August 2, 1973 and her second husband, Delbert Cowger, on February 7, 2002.  She was also predeceased by one son, Jeffrey Sinnett; two daughters, Carolyn Kimble and Barbara Cayton; three brothers, Bob Warner, Jack Warner and Jim Warner and two sisters, Martha Pitsenbarger and Nellie Warner.

Jerry (Betty) Sinnett of Franklin, WV

Danny (Marcella) Sinnett of Franklin, WV

One sister –

Grace Moody of Petersburg, WV

Five grandchildren –

Bobby Kimble, Ricky Cayton, Scott Kimble, Melina Mason and Jared VanMeter

And five great-grandchildren

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Loudermilk officiating.

Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
