Mr. Alden "Corky" Kelly, 77, of Minnehaha Springs, West Virginia, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital. He was born April 22, 1934 in Mustoe, Virginia and was the son of the late Al Kelly and Bessie Rider Kelly. He had worked for Monongahela Power Company and retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways on August 23, 1988, after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Minnehaha United Methodist Church. Corky enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved the mountains. On September 28, 1957, he married Barbara Jane Varney Kelly, who survives. Also surviving are - Two sons - Jeff Kelly (& his companion, Katherine Hinkle) of Minnehaha Springs, WV Tony Kelly (& his wife, Rita) of Minnehaha Springs, WV Two special daughters - Donna Rogall (& her husband, Guenther) of SC Cindy McGinnis (& her husband, Scotty) of MT Two sisters - Arlene Ralston of Fishersville, VA Mary Jane Robertson of Clifton Forge, VA Two brothers - Robert Kelly of Belington, WV Garnett Kelly of Smithfield, NC Three grandchildren - Jana Box (& her husband, Andy) of Denver, NC Brandon Kelly (& his companion, Allison Burns) of Minnehaha Springs, WV Staci Kelly of Minnehaha Springs, WV Special grandchildren - Heather McGinnis Kaitlyn McGinnis Kurtis Rogall Michael Gross (deceased) One great-grandson - Jesse Kelly And several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel, 650 Seneca Trail, North, Marlinton, West Virginia with Rev. Bob Shields officiating. Burial will be at McElwee Cemetery in Minnehaha Springs. Members of the Pocahontas County Veterans Honor Corps will serve as his pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Marlinton. The family invites you to join them for a fellowship meal at the Minnehaha United Methodist Church immediately following the committal service.
